Senior Investment Officer, Amit Thanki, Joins iDAC Board

SBCERA is pleased to share that Amit Thanki, Senior Investment Officer, has been welcomed to the Investment Diversity Advisory Council (iDAC) Board. This recognition reflects Amit’s deep experience in investment management and his ongoing contributions to SBCERA’s long term investment strategy.

In his role at SBCERA, Amit oversees the deployment of nearly $5 billion in pension assets across diversified credit, private equity, and venture capital strategies. He also supports the development of SBCERA’s asset allocation policy, guides manager relationships, identifies investment opportunities, and monitors portfolio liquidity. With more than sixteen years of industry experience, Amit’s leadership has played an important role in strengthening the resilience and performance of SBCERA’s investment portfolio. He is also a past recipient of the Money Management Intelligence Rising Star of Public Funds award.
