Working at SBCERA:
The San Bernardino County Employees' Retirement Association (SBCERA) is a California public pension plan that administers benefits and manages pension assets for approximately 40,000 members and beneficiaries on behalf of 18 participating employers. SBCERA is a Special District governed by its own board, the Board of Retirement, which serves as primary fiduciary for SBCERA’s assets and administration.

Salary and Benefits:
SBCERA prides itself on being a quality employer and workplace, providing competitive compensation and benefits in addition to professional development, training and opportunities for advancement. Benefits are provided to SBCERA employees in accordance with the appropriate bargaining unit agreement and/or SBCERA employment resolution. All positions are assigned a range number that corresponds with the current salary schedule. Upon hiring, employees are assigned a specific step within their position’s range and are eligible to move up to higher steps within their range in accordance with the SBCERA Salary Rate and Step Advancement Plan.
