Board of Retirement Notice of Election

One seat on the SBCERA Board of Retirement will be open for election later this year. Candidacy information will be available May 30, 2023, and the candidate filing period ends on June 23, 2023.

Notice is hereby given that on September 19, 2023, an election will be held for the San Bernardino County Employees’ Retirement Association (SBCERA) to elect a member to the Board of Retirement. In this election, the following officers will be elected:

• General Member Trustee: One General member to be elected to the SBCERA Board of Retirement by Active and Deferred General Members of the Retirement Association.  The term of office shall be for the remaining term of the vacant 2nd seat and shall commence October 5, 2023. 

All Board of Retirement elections are conducted by the Registrar of Voters (ROV) under the Mail Ballot procedure and in accordance with the Uniform District Election Law (UDEL). Candidate filings will be accepted at the San Bernardino County Registrar of Voters, 777 E. Rialto Avenue, San Bernardino, CA, from May 30, 2023, until 5:00 p.m. on June 23, 2023.
