1099-Rs Tax Forms for Retirees

SBCERA reports income to payees on IRS form 1099-R. Members in retired status, beneficiaries, and payees of SBCERA members, should receive their 1099-Rs in January. This form will be mailed no later than January 31, 2022.

View and Download an Electronic Copy 

Your 1099-R form is available on mySBCERA. Log in to take advantage of this feature by following these simple steps:

  1. Sign-in to your mySBCERA account.
  2. Click on “1099-R Details”, which is listed in the left-hand menu under Benefit Information.
  3. Click the “View 1099-R PDF” button. The PDF will then appear on screen. From there, you can download and print your 1099-R.
  4. If you have more than one 1099-R (i.e. if you received more than one benefit during 2021) please select the applicable benefit.
