SBCERA Retiree Volunteer Expo

SBCERA retirees can learn about a variety of rewarding volunteer opportunities with a variety of local organizations during the SBCERA Retiree Volunteer Expo, happening on Monday, November 2, 2026, from 9:30 a.m. – 11:30 a.m. at the San Bernardino County Museum in Redlands.
Hosted by SBCERA in partnership with the Retired Employees of San Bernardino County (RESBC), this free event will bring together a mix of local organizations looking for volunteers. Attendees can meet with representatives, learn about volunteer opportunities, and discover ways to give back to their communities.

About this Event
The Volunteer Expo is part of SBCERA’s Retiree Support Initiative, launched by the Board of Retirement in 2024 to help retirees navigate the transition into retirement and the challenges that can come after retirement.
As part of the initiative, SBCERA has offered a variety of free educational workshops on topics including Alzheimer’s and dementia, Medicare enrollment, financial planning, and fraud prevention.
