Overview
Planning your retirement can be difficult, especially with all the choices you have to make and factors to consider. These virtual events are designed to provide you with the information you need to help you feel confident in your future retirement decisions. 

Generally, our pre-retirement seminars are intended for members that are about 5 or more years away from retirement and our mid-career seminars are intended for members that are about 10 or more years away from retirement.

Once you’re registered using a link below, you will receive a registration confirmation email and reminders prior to the seminar.

All in-person seminars will take place at San Bernardino County Employees’ Retirement Association (SBCERA) located at 348 W. Hospitality Lane, Suite 100 San Bernardino, CA 92408. 

Note: While we will always try our best to accommodate all members, we have limited capacity and are only able to guarantee seats for members who have registered.

Attendance Criteria

  Age Tier 1 – Service Credit Tier 2 (hired on or after 1/1/13) – Service Credit
Pre-Retirement Seminar

48+

 At least 8 years At least 4 years
Mid-Career Seminar 30+ At least 5 years At least 4 years

Your individual employer may have additional criteria for attending an SBCERA seminar and may require approval from your supervisor prior to attending.

Members without online access may RSVP for seminars by contacting the SBCERA Communications Department at communications@sbcera.org. Please include your complete name, employee ID or birth date, phone number, preferred seminar date, and number of attendees (members may bring one guest).
