The Compass, an SBCERA handbook for members, was last updated in 2014, per the California Public Employees’ Pension Reform Act (PEPRA) effective January 1, 2013.

To determine whether your Compass has been updated, look at the date on the cover page and be sure to replace the cover any time you update The Compass. To reduce costs and ensure timeliness and accuracy for our members, updates to this document will only be mailed to members and beneficiaries upon request.
