1099-Rs Tax Forms for Retirees

SBCERA reports income to payees on IRS form 1099-R. Members in retired status, beneficiaries, and payees of SBCERA members, should receive their 1099-Rs in January. This form will be mailed no later than January 31, 2020.

Your 1099-R form is available on MemberDirect. Log in to take advantage of this feature by following these simple steps:
- Sign-in to your MemberDirect account.
- Click on “1099-R Details”, which is listed in the right-hand menu under Benefit Information.
- Click the “View 1099-R PDF” button. The PDF will then appear on screen. From there, you can download and print your 1099-R.
- If you have more than one 1099-R (i.e. if you received more than one benefit during 2019) please select the applicable benefit from the dropdown menu option.

Alternatively, you can use a Windows computer to print the document, or contact SBCERA if you have not received your 1099-R printed form via postal mail.
