Windfall Elimination Provision
Social Security Eligibility
If you have 40 quarters of employment with Social Security, you may be able to collect Social Security benefits at age 65 or older. You must contact the Social Security Administration for your personal benefit review. In most cases, when an employee's last employer did not participate in Social Security, these benefits may be reduced by the Windfall Elimination Provision (WEP).
