Medicare
SBCERA will generally notify you that you need to apply for Medicare before you reach age 65. Contact Employee Benefits & Services Division at (909) 387-5787 to request coverage information for your current health plan carrier. You can apply for Social Security retirement benefits online, but not for Medicare. To apply for Medicare, you must call or visit your local Social Security office.
