SBCERA - Seminars

Coming Soon: Fall Series of Pre-Retirement Seminars

In partnership with the County of San Bernardino’s Employee Benefits & Services Division, SBCERA annually participates in a vigorous effort to support the "pre-retirement" employee. In a series of seminars set annually each Fall, SBCERA, along with the County, a representative from ING and sometimes even a specialist from Social Security, hits the road with Pre-Retirement training. It is designed to cover all aspect of retirement planning. Since 2004, nearly 70 pre-retirement seminars have been offered at various locations throughout the County.

The 2007 schedule will be posted on this site by late August. Active members who are at least age 48 and over with a minimum of eight years of service credit will receive a special invitation to attend one of the seminars. If you are within three years of retiring, it is strongly recommended that you attend a seminar if you have not already done so.
